    Amoura Carter, CEO & Co-Founder

    Amoura Carter, M.Ed. is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of AC Creative Collective. Drawing on more than a decade in education and instructional design, and seven-plus years in project and marketing management, Amoura helps entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and organizations define their voice, streamline their systems, and tell stories that move people to action.

    A former educator turned strategist, Amoura brings a rare blend of warmth, organization, and vision to every engagement. Her background in curriculum design, executive coordination, and content development informs her approach to building campaigns, internship programs, events, and social media ecosystems that are as thoughtful as they are effective. Through AC Creative Collective, she leads brand audits, digital marketing strategies, social media management, and learning experiences that center equity, authenticity, and community connection.

    Amoura holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (Reading) from Lesley University and a B.A. in English with a Film and Media Studies concentration from Davidson College, where she was a Presidential Scholar and editor for multiple publications. She is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and earned a Project Management Fundamentals certification, further grounding her work in intentional planning and measurable outcomes. Active in the Charlotte business and alumni community, she serves in volunteer leadership roles and regularly collaborates with mission-driven leaders who want their marketing to reflect both their values and their goals.

    Amoura lives in Charlotte, NC with her partner and two kids (ages 6 and 2). Outside of work, her days are filled with park visits, nighttime scavenger hunts, and s’mores around the fire pit.

    Avery Carter, Chief Creative Officer & Co-Founder

    Avery Carter is the co-founder and creative lead behind AC Creative Collective, where she brings strategy, storytelling, and design together to help organizations communicate with clarity and purpose. She holds a BA in Advertising from the Savannah College of Art and Design and brings more than a decade of experience across nonprofit, B2B, and mission-driven marketing.

    Avery spent nearly ten years in the nonprofit sector as Creative Team Lead at the Captain Planet Foundation, where she led visual strategy, branding, and annual fundraising campaigns that supported environmental education nationwide. During this time, she also worked as a freelance creative with organizations including the National Black Arts Festival, expanding her experience in cultural storytelling and community-centered work.

    She later transitioned into B2B marketing within the facility services industry, serving as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at GDI Integrated Facility Services and partner company Newbold Services. In this role, Avery developed marketing solutions and sales support materials for regional teams, including direct collaboration with the Greenville, South Carolina sales team. This chapter sharpened her ability to translate complex services into clear, effective marketing that drives results.

    Today, Avery channels that blended experience into AC Creative Collective, partnering with her sister Amoura to support organizations that value clarity, structure, and authentic connection. Known for turning complex ideas into accessible, engaging visuals, Avery thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution.

    Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Avery is an active member of the local creative and nonprofit ecosystem and frequently collaborates with women-led and community-centered organizations. Outside of work, she can often be found at the dog park with her energetic mini poodle, Coco, who treats it like her personal racetrack.

    Danielle Rothman

    Business Development & Operations Manager

    Danielle is our sales and operations guru, spreading the word about the work we do and putting systems in place to make our team more efficient so that we can spend less time on admin and more time helping our amazing clients!

    In addition to her work with us, Danielle is an established calligrapher and teaching artist with over 500 virtual and in person workshops under her belt. Her business, Rothbyrns Creative, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Prior to striking out on her own, Danielle worked at a career mentorship nonprofit in NYC, where she earned her masters degree from Columbia University. She also has a bachelor of arts in Advertising from Penn State University.

    Danielle lives in NoDa, the arts district of Charlotte, NC, with her husband and an alarming number of sticker books. Her current hobbies include decorating her daily planner/journal (with said stickers), singing (she’s a soprano 1), and working out at her local aerial circus studio.

    Before joining AC Creative Collective, Taylor built her career as a designer, brand strategist, and creative consultant, working primarily with women-led service-based businesses. She is also the founder of TNMedia Studio, a creative agency where she has supported founders through brand development, social media strategy, and content creation.

    Outside of work, Taylor enjoys traveling, shopping “just to look” (and somehow leaving with bags), creating Pinterest boards, and romanticizing the small details of everyday life.

    Her passion for visual storytelling began in her hometown of Fayetteville, NC, where she saved up for digital cameras and experimented with her family’s equipment. What started as a hobby evolved into a lifelong commitment to capturing stories through images and film.

    Imani refined her craft in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, building her brand and professional portfolio through both client work and personal projects. These experiences shaped her creative voice and informed her approach to integrated storytelling that blends visual impact with community engagement.

    She is the founder of Imani Black Studios, where she collaborates with brands, organizations, and creatives through photography, videography, and the curation of community-focused experiences. Her work has been recognized through an award, publications, and a streetlight banner in Dallas featuring a photo of her. She has partnered with notable clients such as Sony, the State Fair of Texas, the Arbor Day Foundation, La Roche-Posay, and more.

    Patricia is a Marketing and Communications professional with over 12 years of experience spanning in-house marketing, B2B SaaS, global public relations agencies, and broadcast media. She specializes in multi-channel strategy, brand storytelling, media relations, and revenue-driven campaigns.

    Most recently, she led multi-channel marketing campaigns for a retail brand in Charlotte, increasing brand visibility and customer engagement. She partnered cross-functionally with sales and product teams to launch high-impact promotions that boosted store traffic and sales performance.

    Previously, as a Marketing Content Specialist for a B2B SaaS platform, she developed SEO-driven campaigns across web, blog, and social channels, delivering strategic content that supported lead generation and brand positioning.

    Earlier in her career, she spent several years at global public relations agencies, managing corporate and consumer brands across the automotive, tech, lifestyle, and business sectors. She developed communication strategies, led media relations efforts, and built strong press and stakeholder relationships.

    She began her career in broadcast media as a TV writer and researcher for nationally televised news, current affairs, and entertainment programs, honing the storytelling foundation that continues to shape her strategic approach today.

    Beyond her corporate work, Patricia is also a food content creator sharing her love for Filipino cuisine. Through her platform, she hopes to inspire others, spark curiosity, and build greater appreciation for Filipino food.
